REQ#1901:Informatica Adminstrator - Alexandria, VA
This
person will be part of the team that supports a growing Data
Warehousing and Business Intelligence environment using Informatica,
Oracle 11g/10g RDBMS, and SQL Server 2005/2008. This individual will be
responsible for the following: - Administering the Informatica environment on UNIX - Apply patches / upgrades / hotfixes for Informatica PowerCenter - Monitor performance, troubleshoot, and tune ETL processes - Will be responsible for 24x7 support - Work with Informatica vendor on any issues that arise - Support the Informatica developer team as needed 1. Ensure development teams are following appropriate standards 2. Promote and deploy Informatica code 3. Assist development team at design time ensuring code will run at scale 4. Serve as an Informatica Developer as needed to get work completed. - Write and maintain BASH shell scripts for administering the Informatica environment - Design and implement appropriate error handling procedures - Develop project, documentation, and ETL standards in conjunction with data architects -
Work with other team members to ensure standards around monitoring and
management of the Informatica environment within the context of
existing enterprise monitoring solutions

Must be able to thrive under pressure and have a strong sense of
ownership and responsibility for the project -
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the administration,
architecture, design, and development of ETL programs
using Informatica’s data integration tools; 1.
Informatica experience must include working with large mission critical
data systems (multiple
terabytes in size with millions of rows processing per day) 2. Must be able to demonstrate mastery of Informatica command line utilities
3. Must be able to demonstrate mastery of quickly
debugging and resolving issues that can arise
with Informatica programs. 4. Must know how to navigate through the Informatica metadata repository
5. Expert knowledge of Informatica version 8.5 and
above. Informatica version 9.x and above
preferred; 6. Working with Informatica PowerExchange products is a plus -
Minimum 2 full lifecycle project experience with small development
groups, e.g., leading ground up development of
Informatica standards in one or more previous projects. - Demonstrated ability to navigate through organizational and technical uncertainty -
Mastery of Unix concepts and commands, including process management,
scripting, directory structures, file
permissions and editors - Solid background in Oracle database 11g 1. Must be able to read and understand an Oracle Explain Plan 2. Must understand and know Oracle hints
3. Solid experience building SQL queries, including
creating sub-queries, minus/union, and inline
queries 4. Stored procedure development experience - Fluency with business concepts related to relational and dimensional data models - BA/BS in computer science or equivalent experience - Experience with large scale database application like Exadata would be a plus

Individual
will illustrate subject matter expertise in the areas of Oracle
Identity and Access Management suite of products. Individual will be a
senior ICAM/IdAM engineer on the project and implement ICAM
services for the client. In addition, individual will guide other
ICAM technical staff in the areas of installation, configuration and
administration of Oracle products including Oracle Internet Directory,
Oracle Identity Manager, Oracle Access Manager, Oracle Identity
Federation and Oracle Virtual Directory.
Primary Job Duties: - Plan installation, configuration, and testing of Oracle Identity Manager, Access Manager, Virtual Directory, Internet Directory, and Identity Federation - Configure

Individual will be a senior PKI/LDAP engineer on the project and implement PKI/LDAP services for the client. In addition, individual will guide other technical staff in the areas of installation, configuration and administration of PKI/LDAP products including Red Hat Directory Server / Red Hat Certificate Server.
Primary Job Duties:
- Plan installation, configuration, and testing of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat Directory Server, Red Hat Certificate Server
- Configure and implement Directory Server to support digital identity lifecycle management
- Configure and implement Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP)
